Job Description

Develop and implement welding procedures (WPS) and ensure adherence to international codes and standards like ASME, AWS, and EN standards, minimizing rework.
Review and approve welding procedure specifications (WPS) and procedure qualification records (PQR), ensuring they meet project requirements and industry best practices.
Manage and maintain welding equipment and consumables, ensuring they are properly calibrated, stored, and used.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as design and materials engineers, to ensure weldability and optimal joint design.
Stay updated on the latest welding technologies, codes, and standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of welding processes.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical)

Male

Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong theoretical foundation.
Holds certifications like Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Engineer (CWE), demonstrating expertise in welding inspection and engineering.
Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing industries, showing practical experience.
Demonstrates strong understanding of welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW, ensuring versatile welding capabilities.
Possesses experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT) and their interpretation, ensuring quality control.
Is fluent in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear communication in a global environment.
