Telecom Engineer

Job Description

Project Planning and Coordination o Assist in preparing detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. o Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and technical departments to ensure project alignment. • Technical Support and Implementation o Provide engineering support for telecom systems design, installation, and commissioning. o Ensure implementation follows technical specifications and complies with industry standards. • Vendor and Client Liaison o Act as a point of contact between the company, clients, and vendors for project-related communications. o Attend project meetings, provide updates, and resolve any technical or coordination issues. • Documentation and Reporting o Prepare technical documentation including BOQs, as-built drawings, and test reports. o Maintain accurate records of project activities, changes, and milestones. • Quality Control and Compliance o Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance guidelines. • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting o Identify potential issues during project execution and work proactively to resolve them. o Provide timely technical solutions and support during and after deployment. • Cost and Time Management o Monitor project budgets and timelines, highlighting any deviations and proposing corrective actions. o Support in preparing project cost estimates and ensuring efficient resource usage. • Testing and Commissioning o Oversee or participate in the testing and commissioning of telecom equipment and systems. o Ensure successful handover and client acceptance of completed systems. • Continuous Improvement o Suggest improvements in project execution and engineering processes based on lessons learned and feedback.
