As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing all procurement activities related to woodworks, joinery, and interior fit-out materials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Qatar, a strong supplier network, and hands-on knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers for materials such as timber, veneers, hardware, finishes, and accessories.
Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders, and bid comparisons in accordance with company standards and project timelines.
Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and production teams to align material specifications and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records and pricing databases in SAP or other ERP platforms.
Ensure cost efficiency, material quality, and timely delivery of procurement requirements.
Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Support budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting functions related to procurement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and local regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Any Nationality
Diploma(Civil), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Civil)
Any
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in woodworks, joinery, or interior fit-out projects.
Proven Qatar experience is mandatory.
Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP procurement systems.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, and finishing components.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of Qatar market suppliers preferred.
Valid Qatar driving license is an advantage.
