Job Description

The Driver Operator is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of driver operations for Haive
Passenger Transportation Services LLC (HPTS), supporting deployment for the Client, a leading
ride-hailing and chauffeur service platform. The role includes recruitment, screening, and
onboarding of drivers, as well as real-time coordination, performance management, and compliance
oversight, ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Driver Recruitment, Screening & Onboarding:
• Actively source and screen drivers through online platforms (e.g., Dubizzle, Indeed, social media,
WhatsApp groups, freelance job boards).
• Review and verify driver documentation (UAE driving license, visa status, Emirates ID, etc.).
• Conduct preliminary telephonic/video interviews to assess suitability.
• Schedule and conduct in-person evaluations and onboarding briefings.
• Maintain a pipeline of pre-qualified drivers to meet operational demand.
Driver Management & Coordination:
• Manage a pool of company and freelance drivers assigned to Client operations.
• Monitor and ensure driver adherence to deployment schedules and trip assignments.
• Conduct daily or weekly driver briefings on performance goals, safety protocols, and customer
service expectations.
• Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, and engagement.
Trip & Service Coordination:
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Client’s dispatch team and HPTS drivers.
• Allocate trips in accordance with booking schedules and service-level commitments.
• Use GPS and app-based platforms to track drivers in real-time and ensure timely pickups and
drop-offs.
• Troubleshoot real-time trip disruptions and reallocate resources efficiently.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
• Track key driver performance metrics including trip volumes, cancellations, customer ratings, and
complaints.
• Deliver performance feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Submit regular performance reports (daily/weekly) to the Operations Manager.
Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure drivers comply with RTA regulations, HPTS policies, and the Client’s operational
standards.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all driver documents, including licenses, visas, work permits, and
vehicle registrations.
• Coordinate collection of data for payroll processing, if applicable.
Training & Development:
• Conduct periodic training/refresher sessions on defensive driving, mobile app usage, and
customer interaction.
• Mentor new drivers during onboarding and initial deployment.
• Identify and address behavioral or performance issues proactively.
Issue Handling & Escalations:
• Respond to on-ground incidents such as driver absenteeism, vehicle breakdowns, or customer
complaints.
• Resolve minor disputes and escalate major issues to HR or Operations leadership.
• Ensure incident reports and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
Coordination with Client:
• Maintain active communication with the Client’s operations and customer service teams to ensure
smooth deployment.
• Act as the operational bridge between drivers and the Client for scheduling, policy updates, and
service feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
• 2–3 years in fleet supervision, transportation coordination, or driver management within the UAE.
Languages:
• Proficiency in English required; Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic are advantageous.
Technical Proficiency:
• Strong command of driver management platforms, GPS tracking tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with RTA compliance requirements and UAE labor laws related to transportation
services.
