Job Description
Plan, supervise, and execute Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) works including tower erection, stringing, and OPGW installation.
Review and interpret drawings, design data, and tower schedules provided by the client/consultant.
Ensure work progress aligns with project timelines, particularly for fast-track and shutdown projects.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for material submittals, approvals, and timely delivery.
Monitor site execution for safety, quality, and compliance with SEC or utility standards.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues in coordination with the project team.
Verify BOQ quantities and assist the estimation team for any variation or additional work.
Support QA/QC documentation — ITPs, method statements, and material inspections.
Ensure testing and commissioning activities are carried out as per standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in 110kV / 132kV / 220kV OHTL or Substation projects.
Experience with SEC or GCC utility projects preferred.
Good understanding of transmission tower design, erection, and stringing methods.
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Immediate joining preferred; transferable Iqama is an advantage.
