Job Description
The Contract Manager is responsible for managing the entire contractual process for Royal Advance projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, minimizing risks, and supporting successful project delivery. The position oversees contract drafting, negotiation, administration, and performance monitoring across all project phases, ensuring alignment with UAE regulatory requirements and company policies.
Contract Management & Administration
Prepare, review, and manage all project contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
Ensure all contractual documents comply with UAE laws, company standards, and project requirements.
Oversee contract lifecycle from award to close-out, including variations, claims, and extensions.
Maintain accurate contract documentation and control registers.
Risk & Claims Management
Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Manage claims, variations, and change orders in coordination with project, QS, and legal teams.
Prepare and support contractual notices, dispute resolutions, and negotiations.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, QS, procurement, finance, and legal departments to ensure contractual clarity.
Serve as the focal point for all contract-related communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Ensure timely approvals, certifications, and contractual submissions.
Performance Monitoring
Track contractual performance KPIs, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and obligations.
Support audits, internal reviews, and management reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years of contract management experience in construction (preferably MEP or contracting).
Strong knowledge of UAE contract laws, FIDIC conditions, and construction contract standards.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience in commercial management and claims preparation is an advantage.
