Job Description
Lead end-to-end pipeline commissioning, testing, and operational readiness activities for cross-country pipeline projects.
Ensure all commissioning tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Execute commissioning leak tests and prepare complete documentation.
Manage flange integrity and oversee flange management services.
Perform chemical cleaning of pipelines and associated systems.
Conduct air blowing, system cleaning, and debris removal processes.
Carry out vacuum leak testing and verification.
Execute high-pressure jetting operations for pipe/system cleaning.
Oversee pipeline flushing and cleaning activities.
Perform pipeline pigging (cleaning, gauging, and inspection).
Conduct hydrostatic testing as per project and client standards.
Manage pipeline purging using nitrogen/inert gases.
Execute pipeline drying to ensure moisture-free systems.
Perform nitrogen pumping and nitrogen services.
Conduct helium leak testing for sensitive pipeline systems.
Manage pumping services for fluid transfer operations.
Handle chemicals and materials in compliance with safety protocols.
Key Role Features
Strong understanding of commissioning standards, safety practices, and QA/QC processes.
Ability to lead and supervise field teams in remote cross-country pipeline environments.
Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues during commissioning/testing.
Proficient in report preparation, documentation, and client coordination.
Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline commissioning and testing.
Proven experience in cross-country pipeline projects is essential.
