HVAC Technician
Job Description
Perform installation, troubleshooting and maintenance activities of all datacenters cooling systems
•
Perform any required or regular maintenance tasks to ensure that all cooling systems operate correctly
•
Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
•
Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-site repairs as needed to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all mechanical and electrical issues of datacenters cooling systems.
•
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
•
Prepare reports of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs if required.
•
Adhere to HSE safety protocols & Procedures for working with high-voltage equipment and potentially hazardous materials.

Minimum Experience of 10 years in HVAC and Refrigeration systems specially in IT environment and Data Centers including installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of datacenter equipment including (InRoom CW, InRoom DX, InRow CW, InRow DX, Aisle Containment Systems, Air-Cooled Chillers and Water-Cooled Chillers …. etc) • Understanding how to coordinate cooling systems with server configurations and airflow management • Knowledge of cooling industry standards and installation best practices • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems in cooling equipment and to solve different issues efficiently • Experience in implementing and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and to minimize downtime and equipment failure of datacenter cooling infrastructure. • Prior knowledge of datacenters environmental conditions monitoring systems to ensure proper temperature and humidity setpoints are achieved inside the datacenter • Basic Knowledge of electrical systems and control circuits • Basic knowledge of HSE regulations and safety protocols • Ability to adapt to advancing technology and industry standards of datacenter cooling solutions • Ability to coordinate with other parties for installation and maintenance of datacenters cooling systems
