Job Description

Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and readily available, minimizing delays during procedures.
Act as a crucial member of the surgical team, anticipating the surgeon’s needs and providing instruments, sutures, and other materials in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor the patient’s vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgery, promptly communicating any changes or concerns to the anesthesiologist and surgeon.
Maintain a sterile field, adhering to strict aseptic techniques to prevent surgical site infections and ensure patient safety.

Possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, providing a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
Holds a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, demonstrating legal authorization to practice nursing.
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), ensuring the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Demonstrates a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse, showcasing familiarity with surgical procedures and the operating room environment.
