Job Title: Technician – Paint Shop Maintenance
Job Purpose
The Technician – Paint Shop Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of paint shop equipment through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to support uninterrupted production.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on paint shop equipment.

· Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns efficiently.

· Maintain and service robots, conveyors, paint booths, ovens, and paint systems.

· Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

· Execute predictive maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime.

· Identify recurring issues and escalate critical problems to senior engineers or supervisors.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.

· Ensure compliance with SOPs and OEM maintenance guidelines.

Diploma(Electrical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical)

Qualification & Experience
Education:
• Technical High School Certificate or Diploma in Electrical & Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in an automotive paint shop or manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

· Experience with paint shop equipment, robots, conveyors, and automation.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Good understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.

Willingness to work shifts and respond to equipment breakdowns
