Job Description

Install, configure, manage, and maintain MariaDB databases

Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, procedures, and indexes

Monitor database performance and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks

Ensure high availability, replication, backup, and recovery strategies

Perform regular database maintenance, upgrades, and patching

Implement and enforce database security, access control, and data integrity

Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide root cause analysis

Collaborate with developers, backend engineers, and DevOps teams

Support production, staging, and development environments

Document database architecture, procedures, and best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Arab National, Indian, Pakistani

Bachelors in Computer Application

Any

Strong hands-on experience with MariaDB (must)

Excellent SQL expertise (mandatory)

Experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning

Strong understanding of relational database concepts

Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery

Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Experience handling large databases and high-traffic systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Database Administrator

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and under pressure
