Transit mixer driver / Heavy vehicle driver

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate and drive transit mixer trucks to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites.
Follow all traffic regulations and safety guidelines to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
Inspect the vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.
Load and unload concrete materials as required, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and quantity of concrete delivered.
Communicate with dispatchers and project managers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
Follow proper concrete handling and pouring techniques to ensure the quality of the delivered product.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the transit mixer truck, both inside and outside.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as checking oil and fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleaning filters.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times.

Indian, Filipino, Nepali, Sri Lankan

Intermediate School

Male

Valid heavy vehicle driving license and a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a transit mixer driver or heavy vehicle driver in the construction industry.
Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety guidelines.
Ability to read and understand delivery schedules and maps.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
