Roles and Responsibilities
Purpose
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of the gym facility by maintaining equipment, monitoring member safety, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Main areas of responsibility
Main activities
Facility maintenance
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym, and ensure that equipment is in good working order.
Equipment monitoring
Monitor members’ use of equipment to ensure safety and proper form.
Member Services
Greet members, assist with inquiries, and provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Safety
Monitor the gym floor to ensure member safety and deal with any potential hazards.
Administrative tasks
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as attendance records and paperwork.
Teamwork
Collaborate with other gym staff to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for members.
Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service, addressing member inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Emergency Response
Dealing with emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
Required profile for candidates

Education and Certificates
Diploma in Health and Fitness, or related field
Knowledge and experience
0-2 years experience in a fitness facility
Basic understanding of fitness equipment, exercises, and safety protocols.
Demonstrate a passion for health and wellness.
Ability to visually monitor participant activities
