Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments to determine patient needs, ensuring personalized anesthesia plans and interventions.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures, adjusting as necessary to maintain optimal safety and comfort.
Close collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists to coordinate surgical procedures, promoting an efficient and safe operating environment.
Provide comprehensive post-operative care, including pain management and monitoring for potential complications.
Educating patients and their families about the surgical process, anesthesia risks, and post-operative care to ensure informed consent and readiness.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes for legal and clinical purposes.
Adherence to strict infection control protocols and safety standards to reduce risk and enhance patient outcomes.
Participate in continuing professional development and training to stay up to date with the latest anesthesia techniques and technology.
Assist in training and orientation of new staff and nursing students, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient management.

Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, ensuring a strong foundation in patient care.
Valid nursing license and certification in peripheral nursing, demonstrating compliance with industry standards.
Proficiency in advanced life support techniques and anesthesia monitoring, which is essential for patient safety.
Strong interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the surgical team, promoting trust and collaboration.
