Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective logistics strategies designed to improve supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery and reducing costs.
Oversee inventory management operations, including demand forecasting, inventory control, and sourcing strategies to reduce surpluses and shortages.
Coordinate with suppliers and freight carriers to establish reliable transportation schedules, and negotiate terms to maximize cost effectiveness.
Use advanced logistics software and tools to track shipments and analyze performance indicators to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements to prevent delays and legal issues.
Lead cross-functional teams in addressing logistics challenges, proactively identifying solutions and implementing corrective actions.
Conduct regular audits of logistics operations and supply chain activities to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare and present detailed logistics reports to senior management, presenting performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
Preparation and maintenance of entry statement of other customs documents within JAFZA
Coordination with customs authorities to facilitate smooth clearance of incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain accurate records of goods received and shipped at JAFZA warehouse.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma, sufficient experience may be substituted for educational qualifications.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably within fast-paced industries.
Experience in ERP systems and logistics software, demonstrating proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in English; additional languages ​​such as Arabic, French or Russian highly desirable for global operations.
Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders across cultures.
UAE driving license
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Good knowledge of customs entry declaration procedures
