Project / Operations Manager – Gypsum factory

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager / Operations Manager to oversee the full spectrum of operations for our gypsum factory in Bahrain, including production, factory management, and site execution. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between manufacturing and on-site installation, manage teams across departments, and drive overall operational eƯiciency and project delivery. —

Key Responsibilities: 1. Factory & Production Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the gypsum production facility (boards, plasters, cornices, etc.). Plan and monitor production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines. Ensure all production processes adhere to quality standards and safety regulations. Optimize resource utilization and reduce operational downtime. Coordinate maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment. 2. Site & Project Execution: Manage gypsum installation and application work at various project sites (e.g., partitions, ceilings, decorative works). Ensure that site execution is aligned with client specifications, drawings, and BOQs. Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and quality project completion. Conduct site inspections and enforce safety compliance. 3. Operations & Team Management: Supervise production, site, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth coordination across departments. Maintain inventory control of raw materials and finished goods. Coordinate with procurement for timely sourcing of materials. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, handle workforce planning and performance evaluations. 4. Planning & Reporting: Prepare operational and project progress reports for management. Develop KPIs to track production eƯiciency, quality, and delivery timelines. Assist in budgeting and cost control for operations and projects. — Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in gypsum manufacturing, construction, or related building materials industry. Strong knowledge of gypsum products, production techniques, and construction practices. Proven leadership experience managing both factory and site teams. Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
