Role: Chief Accountant — Sales Department (Car Rental)

Location: Barsha Heights (Tecom), Dubai | Schedule: Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00

MARSEL LUXURY CAR RENTAL is part of MARSEL LUXURY CAR RENTAL & VIP-DXB-RUS TOURISM group. We provide: car rentals (economy/business/luxury/sports), chauffeur services (transfers), yacht rentals, tours, theme-park tickets, and more.

Key Responsibilities (sales-focused)
• End-to-end accounting & tax for revenue streams (rent-a-car, chauffeur, tours).
• Daily revenue reconciliation: CRM/booking → POS/cash → bank; control of discounts, promos, refunds.
• Own Accounts Receivable: invoicing, collections, A/R aging, client follow-ups.
• Deposits/penalties accounting; proper revenue recognition.
• UAE VAT (FTA): data control and return filing.
• Month-end close: TB and product-level P&L; management reports.
• Commissions calculation for sales staff and partners; supplier/client reconciliations.
• Internal controls & process improvements; liaison with auditors/authorities.
• Lead a small accounting team (planning, QA, deadlines).

Requirements
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
• 3+ years as Chief/Senior Accountant (UAE and/or car rental/hospitality/services preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT.
• Advanced Excel; hands-on with QuickBooks/Zoho/1C or similar; booking/rental systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, structured, fluent English (Russian preferred; Arabic is a plus).
