Summary: Helen Beauty Salon is seeking a skilled and creative Hairdresser from CIS countries who is proficient in English and experienced in handling multicultural clients. As a Hairdresser, you will be responsible for offering a full range of hair services, including haircuts, colouring, styling, extensions, and advanced treatments like hair botox. Your expertise in both basic and advanced haircuts (e.g., bob cuts, boy cuts) and familiarity with diverse hair types and textures will be crucial in providing top-notch service. The ideal candidate should be versatile in managing multicultural clientele, demonstrating creativity and professionalism in their work.

Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and desired looks.

Perform a variety of hair treatments, including:

Hair Colouring: Highlights, balayage, ombre, single-process colour, root touch-ups, and corrective colouring

Hair Conditioning Treatments: Moisturizing treatments, keratin treatments, and deep conditioning

Hair Botox Treatments: Smooth, repair, and hydrate damaged hair for a healthier and shinier look

Scalp Treatments: Scalp massages, dandruff treatments, and soothing oils for dry scalp

Hair Smoothing Treatments: Keratin smoothing, Brazilian blowouts

Hair Relaxing and Perms: For texture and curl management

Hair Extensions: Including tape-in, clip-in, fusion, and microbead extensions

Cut and style hair according to the client’s request, including challenging and trendy cuts such as bob cuts, boy cuts, pixie cuts, and layered styles

Advise clients on the best products for their hair type and maintenance tips.

Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairdressing and continuously improve your skillset

Provide diverse services for all hair types, ensuring a multicultural approach to client needs.

Maintain salon cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Build a loyal clientele and ensure repeat business by delivering exceptional service.

Manage bookings and maintain detailed client records.

Collaborate with the team to ensure a harmonious and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Hairdresser or in a similar role with comprehensive skills in both basic and advanced cuts

Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

Skilled in handling a variety of hair types (straight, wavy, curly, coily) and textures, and the ability to adapt services accordingly

Expertise in haircuts (e.g., bob, boy cut, pixie, layered cuts) and hair colouring (e.g., highlights, balayage, ombre, corrective colouring)

In-depth knowledge of hair treatments, including keratin treatments, perms, relaxing, deep conditioning, and hair botox treatments

Experience in hair extensions (e.g., tape-in, clip-in, fusion, microbeads)

Ability to provide styling for various occasions (e.g., weddings, special events, everyday styles)

Strong customer service skills with a client-focused attitude

Professional appearance and hygiene

Certification from a recognized cosmetology school or equivalent

Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining excellent individual performance

Multicultural competency and experience working with a diverse clientele

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates from CIS countries (e.g., Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, etc.)

Fluency in multiple languages is a plus (e.g., Russian, Arabic, etc.)

Additional certifications in specialized hair treatments or techniques, including hair botox

Previous experience working in a multicultural environment and dealing with clients from various ethnic backgrounds.
