Project Manager – Retail Warehouse (Eyewear + FMCG)

Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager to lead our operations in the UAE. Our core business includes reading glasses and sunglasses, and we’re actively expanding into European and Chinese food and non-food consumer goods. This role is hands-on, combining warehouse management, retail operations, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
✔ Identify and approach new retail chains and sales channels
✔ Develop partnerships with small wholesale distributors
✔ Actively explore new market opportunities to scale operations
2. Warehouse & Inventory Management
✔ Receive incoming stock and ensure accurate documentation
✔ Conduct regular inventory checks and control stock levels
✔ Manage outbound shipments to retail chains
✔ Coordinate with transport and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries
3. Retail Network Management
✔ Support and develop ongoing relationships with existing retail chains
✔ Launch sales operations with newly contracted networks
✔ Visit retail locations to oversee display quality and product availability
✔ Manage external staff such as merchandisers when needed
✔ Supervise the use and ordering of trade equipment, including branded stands and displays
4. Documentation & Reporting
✔ Handle basic internal paperwork and inventory documentation
✔ Process accountable funds and petty cash in compliance with company policies
✔ Coordinate with the finance team for accurate reporting

Who We Are Looking For:
– A hands-on and organized professional with experience in retail operations, logistics, or FMCG project management
– Familiarity with retail chain dynamics and merchandising best practices
– Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
– Proactive and independent, with a “make it happen” attitude
– Comfortable with multitasking and shifting between warehouse, office, and retail environments
– Fluent in English;
– Personal car preferred – fuel reimbursement offered
