Job Description

Looking for a QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER with all kind of QC and Technical Knowledge (MALE) in construction and engineering filed, REQUIRED FOR a REPUTED TRADING COMPANY with 28 years of Industrial Equipment Business in Dubai.

Engineering with IT Experience is preferred.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Product Testing and Inspection
• Conducting Routine Testing: Perform quality testing on finished products, including coating thickness gauges, surface roughness testers, and other measurement equipment.
• Calibration and Validation
• Inspecting Raw Materials
2. Ensuring Compliance with Standards
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the products meet all relevant industry standards, such as ISO, ASTM, and other certifications for measurement equipment.
• Conformance to Specifications: Verify that the product specifications, including accuracy, durability, and safety, are met and documented.
3. Developing and Implementing QC Processes
• Creating Inspection Protocols: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product testing, calibration, and inspection.
• Process Improvement: Continuously analyze testing processes and procedures, recommending improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Quality Control Plans: Develop and implement detailed QC plans that cover all stages of production, from design to post-manufacturing.
4. Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis
• Identifying Product Defects: Detect defects or deviations in products during the testing phase, such as inaccurate readings or malfunctioning components.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and identify the root cause of defects or failures, whether they are manufacturing errors, design flaws, or environmental factors.
• Providing Solutions
5. Data Analysis and Reporting
• Data Recording and Documentation: Accurately document all test results, deviations, and corrective actions taken. Maintain comprehensive records of product quality.
• Analyzing Trends: Analyze testing and production data to identify trends, detect potential quality issues early, and inform decision-making processes.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on the status of product quality and QC activities for management and stakeholders.
6. Training and Support
• Team Training
• Customer Support: (e.g., calibration or operational problems).
7. Supplier Quality Management
• Supplier Audits: Perform quality audits of suppliers to ensure the components they provide meet the required standards.
