Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Store Assistant to support the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will assist customers, maintain store presentation, handle stock, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Provide product information and help customers locate items
Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately
Receive, unpack, and organize stock
Replenish shelves and ensure displays are clean and attractive
Monitor inventory levels and report low stock
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns politely
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store
Support opening and closing procedures as required
Requirements and Skills
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Good time management and organizational skills
Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills
Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
On-the-job training will be provided
