Job Description

Detailed Responsibilities and Duties – Field Sales Representative
1. Generating New Leads from Scratch
Actively identify and target new clients, such as small and medium-sized businesses, factories, warehouses, and retailers requiring freight transportation services.
Utilize market databases, business networks, trade exhibitions, and social media to create new business opportunities.
Categorize potential clients based on business size, shipment type, expected frequency of transport, and contracting priority.
2. Effective Client Communication
Conduct on-site visits to introduce clients to the company’s services, explain competitive advantages, and ensure they understand the added value.
Prepare and present detailed and accurate quotations based on shipment volume, type, and transport frequency.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, building trust from the very first interaction.
3. Closing Deals and Converting Leads into Long-Term Clients
Follow up with potential clients until contracts are signed and the first deal is successfully completed.
Coordinate with management to ensure all legal and procedural requirements of transportation contracts are met.
Develop a plan to activate the service immediately after contract signing and provide an excellent initial customer experience.
4. Client Relationship Management
Maintain continuous communication with new clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business.
Address any complaints or issues efficiently to enhance the client experience.
Build long-term relationships with clients to increase repeat business and expand service opportunities.
5. Market and Competitor Analysis
Monitor competitors’ pricing, service levels, and emerging trends in the Dubai transportation market.
Provide recommendations to management on improving service offerings, developing services, or targeting new client segments.
6. Reporting and Performance Monitoring
Prepare daily and weekly reports on field visits, new clients, potential deals, and market observations.
Use reports to evaluate performance against sales targets and develop plans for continuous improvement.
7. Sales Strategy Development
Suggest and implement innovative strategies to acquire new clients and increase market share.
Participate in setting monthly and quarterly sales targets and defining fieldwork priorities.
8. Compliance with Professional Standards
Maintain the company’s image and reputation while interacting with clients.
Adhere to all safety procedures, transportation policies, and company regulations.
Apply best professional practices in field sales and client communication.
