Asst. Process Mechanic

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

To carry out daily routine check of all running equipment and monitor the performance and lubricate the equipment’s according to the established chart and procedure quality assurance system requirements.
Assist the Mechanic to attend equipment malfunctioning or breakdown, trouble shooting and repairs by welding and fabrication or using lifting appliances to bring back the machine into operation.
To perform Minor and Moderate Mechanical work on preventive and planned maintenance like Belt change, Hose, Blockage removal… as per the department’s schedule as per the guidance of your Foreman/Engineer
If required, to attend and perform Equipment breakdown or Emergency work at any time if needed, even at night & report duty when instructed.
To record daily on logbook with 100% accuracy for all observations, breakdowns and action taken, work achieved or in progress.
To Perform other mechanical work as required and assigned with instructions of department seniors.
To ensure safe working with all necessary safety guidelines, safe keeping of tools &daily cleanliness of work areas.
To attend and ensure operational firefighting equipment when necessary.

Qualifications:

Should have 2 to 3 years of experience in same role.
Must have diploma in draft man mechanical.
Should have good technical knowledge in Rotating equipment like pumps (reciprocating as well as rotary), reciprocating compressors, fan, blowers and material handling equipment like belt conveyors, metal conveyors and other stationary equipment.
Should have through knowledge in using measuring instruments& Autocade knowledge.
Age less than 35.
