Driver FOR Technician

Job Description

Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle to transport technicians and tools to job sites, ensuring timely arrivals.
Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Assist technicians in loading and unloading equipment and materials, ensuring all items are securely transported.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate schedules, routes, and any changes in the plan.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes.
Provide assistance in troubleshooting minor vehicle issues and liaise with service providers for major repairs.
Support technicians on-site by providing logistical assistance, ensuring they have the necessary tools and materials.
Manage inventory of tools and supplies in the vehicle, ensuring everything is organized and accessible when needed.
Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times, representing the company positively while interacting with clients and the public.

Secondary School, Intermediate School

Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a service or technician support role.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with local roads and routes is essential.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive maintenance is a plus.
Proficient in basic vehicle maintenance and repair; certifications in automotive service are advantageous.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate coordination with team members.
Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment, as well as stand for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project demands.
Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed diligently.
Culturally adaptable, with a preference for candidates who can communicate in multiple languages.
