Job Description
Reports to Veterinary and Livestock Supervisor. The Farm Poultry Supervisor is responsible for planning and organizing poultry tasks and care in accordance with Company Policy and instructions from the Livestock Farm Vet / Supervisor. The role requires adherence to Company and Farm policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all biosecurity controls are in place and adhered to as per protocols, record daily checklist requirements, and submit daily to the Farm Office.
Organize all poultry tasks, including collecting eggs for the packing house and managing incubator cleanliness.
Provide poultry with the necessary amount of feed and water, and maintain the cleanliness and disinfection of poultry housing, equipment, and incubators/hatcheries to prevent disease.
Monitor poultry daily for any signs of disease or viruses and notify the Veterinary if any concerns arise.
Assist the Veterinarian with vaccination and treatment programs according to the company schedule.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Check all groups of chickens regularly, removing any sick or weak chickens to a protected environment.
Assist in routine vaccinations and manage the transfer of all waste manure to the compost facility.
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to Company Health & Safety Policy.
Collect eggs and transfer them to the storekeeper for storage in the logistic building.
Work Environment:
The role requires working both indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions throughout the year.
Physical activities including lifting and other physical tasks are required.

Salary 2000 OMR / 4700 EUROS (approx) TAX FREE

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Poultry Science / Diploma, or at least 5 years of experience supervising poultry operations.
Key Competencies:
Care for the Poultry Flock and equipment with precision.
Monitor and control daily operations effectively.
Maintain accurate records and demonstrate attention to detail.
