Job Description

Ensuring that standardized HSE Integrated Management Systems, practices and procedures are developed maintained and implemented consistently across all projects to meet ISO requirements.
Develop/ implement project HSE plans.
Design/ implement/ monitor the HSE strategic objectives, targets and tasks for the projects.
Promoting a safety culture throughout the range of projects as well as planning and monitoring safety procedures undertaken in planning and execution.
Conduct Safety audit of documents and site safety condition. Maintain compliance report of internal audit, client audit, external audit & daily observations and tracking system for close out .
Conducting Root Cause Analysis of key issues and accident/incident and advice management to take corrective/ preventive actions.
Review during the tender phase the HSE requirements for projects and support the tender/ contract department where necessary with preparing for the Pre qualification and technical bid submission.
Arrange HSE review meetings i.e. Apex committee, Communication meeting for HSE Advisers, Pre-job safety review meeting and Site Safety Committee Meeting.
Organize HSE Campaigns on site and off-site to promote HSE awareness amongst the employees and communities.
Identification of HSE training need, preparation & implementation of annual HSE Training Calendar. Liaison & interaction with consultants, clients and external legal / regulatory agencies.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Diploma(Electrical, Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Mechanical)

Male

Graduate Engineers with diploma in industrial safety from recognized institute (CLI * /RLI **) / NEBOSH having 15+ years of experience in managing HSE functions of large Oil & Gas Projects (Petrochemical plants / Refineries) / construction projects with good command in written and verbal communication with high level of computer skill.
Candidate must have good experience in managing a Corporate or Business Unit HSE function and should be familiar with HSE certification (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.) & possess lead auditor certification for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
Work experience in PDO / ADNOC for EPC Contracts as Contractor HSE manager is advantage.
