Job Description

Design and oversee the implementation of backfilling strategies, ensuring ground stability and operational efficiency in underground mines.
Conduct comprehensive geotechnical assessments and risk analyses to determine optimal backfill methods and material selection.
Optimize backfill mixes, considering factors like strength, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact, using advanced modeling software.
Develop and maintain detailed backfilling plans, schedules, and budgets, coordinating with mining and engineering teams.
Analyze backfill performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance backfilling effectiveness.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mining)

Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
Possess a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in underground mining, with a focus on backfilling operations.
Strong technical skills in backfill design, material selection, and operational management are required.
