Job Description

The Data Governance and Quality Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across the organization. This role involves implementing data quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR, and supporting data-driven decision-making through reliable and well-governed data.

Data Governance:
Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
Define and enforce data ownership, stewardship, and accountability across the organization.
Collaborate with IT, business units, and stakeholders to align data governance with organizational goals.
Data Quality Management:
Utilize Data Quality Tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Collibra, Alation) to monitor, assess, and improve data quality.
Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Establish data quality KPIs and metrics and report on data health to stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance & Security:
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
Support data privacy initiatives, including data classification, access controls, and audit trails.
Assist in data risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues and improve governance processes.
Provide training and guidance on data governance best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting data governance.
Desired Candidate Profile

Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan

Bachelors in Computer Application, Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Bachelor of Science

Any

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, or data stewardship. Hands-on experience with Data Quality Tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, IBM DataStage). Familiarity with GDPR, data privacy laws, and compliance frameworks.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, etc.). Knowledge of SQL, data profiling, and metadata management. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) is a plus.
Soft Skills: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
