Electrical Engineer (UPDA Trainee)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and equipment.

Maintenance Duties:

Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive & corrective maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems (e.g., Alarm, pumps, fire protection).
Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement root cause analysis (RCA).
Ensure compliance with Qatar MOWE, QCS, and HSE standards during maintenance activities.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for critical replacements.
Supervise technicians and contractors to ensure quality and safety.
Project Engineering Duties:

Assist in design, execution, and handover of MEP/construction projects from inception to completion.
Review technical drawings, BOQs, and method statements for compliance with client specs.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to avoid delays/cost overruns.
Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure adherence to approved plans.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve on-site issues.
Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare daily progress reports, maintenance logs, and as-built documentation.
Maintain records of inspections, test certificates, and compliance permits.
