Inspection Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct inspections of equipment, materials, and structures to ensure they meet specified standards.
– Develop and implement inspection plans and protocols based on project requirements.
– Analyze inspection data and generate reports on findings, including recommendations for corrective actions.
– Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns.
– Perform root cause analysis for defects or non-conformities and assist in developing solutions.
– Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and advancements in inspection technologies.
– Participate in audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with safety and quality standards.
– Provide training and guidance to staff on inspection processes and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering

Any

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
– Certified Welding Inspector – AWS CWI, CSWIP 3.2,
– Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
– Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
– Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to quality assurance.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– 10 years of experience in welding inspection of automatic welding for offshore pipeline laying
Strong knowledge of welding processes, material traceability, and NDE
