Medical Coder

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Medical Coder with 3–5 years of experience and valid certification to join a reputed organization in the hospitality domain.

Contract Duration: 3 Months
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Certified in Medical Coding (from an accredited institution)
3–5 years of experience in coding, billing, or collections
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong English communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
Must be based in Qatar with a valid QID

Review notes by medical practitioners to ensure completeness and accuracy
Contact physicians for any missing or unclear information
Assign accurate medical codes per MOPH guidelines
Validate and ensure completeness of medical charts and operative notes
Inform the insurance team of additional procedures/codes
Adhere to organizational and health authority coding policies
Ensure timely coding and reconciliation of daily patient files
Stay updated on coding regulations and maintain certification
Handle clinical coding queries and assist in claim justifications
Provide accurate CPT/HCPCS/CDT codes for new services
Support in reviewing rejected claims and coding denials
Generate and maintain daily and rejected coding reports
