Procurement Officer – MEP & Pools
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer with specialization in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) as well as swimming pool systems and materials.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality materials and services in line with project specifications, budget, and timelines.
MEP & Pool-Specific Procurement
Source and procure MEP equipment, materials, and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Handle procurement of swimming pool materials including pumps, filtration systems, waterproofing, piping, tiles, lighting, and chemical dosing systems.
Review technical specifications and ensure materials meet project and industry standards.
Vendor Management & Negotiation
Identify, evaluate, and maintain a reliable supplier and subcontractor database specific to MEP and swimming pools.
Obtain and evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate for best terms (cost, delivery, and quality).
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and material submittals.
Procurement Process & Documentation
Prepare purchase orders, follow up on approvals, and ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with engineering, site, and project teams to align procurement with project timelines.
Maintain records of purchased items, delivery timelines, cost data, and supplier performance.
Logistics & Coordination
Follow up with vendors and logistics partners for timely material delivery.
Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, and ensure replacements where needed.

Bachelor of Business Administration

Bachelor’s degree
3–5 years of experience in procurement, with specific focus on MEP and swimming pool systems in Qatar
Strong technical understanding of MEP materials and pool-related components.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
