Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take charge of all cost aspects of civil and building works — from inception to final account. The ideal candidate will ensure cost efficiency, timely revenue recognition, and maintain strong commercial and contractual relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all cost elements of civil and building projects from start to completion.
Ensure all expenditure is minimized while maximizing project revenue.
Prepare and submit payment applications, cash flow forecasts, and budget reports on time.
Administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Handle client site instructions, variation orders, and contract correspondence.
Prepare cost value reconciliations, profitability projections, and backup documentation for valuations.
Coordinate with the site and technical teams to track progress and collect project data.
Ensure tendering procedures and package preparation are accurate and compliant.
Secure all variations through signed Variation Orders, ensuring back-to-back recovery with clients.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong experience in computer-based quantification systems (e.g. CCS/Candy).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in AutoCAD for quantity takeoffs.
Thorough understanding of Bill of Quantities preparation and standard measurement methods (NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM, QCS, FIDIC).
ERP/SAP functional knowledge is preferred.
Experience & Education

Minimum 8 years total experience, including 5 years relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
GCC experience (2+ years) is an advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field is preferred.
