Senior Accountant – Qatar

Job Description

Record and verify daily sales transactions accurately.
Prepare and reconcile sales and revenue reports.
Handle customer invoicing and follow up on payments.
Monitor accounts receivable and maintain aging reports.
Process discounts, credit notes, and sales returns.
Support the Sales team with data and reports for decision-making.
Ensure all sales entries comply with VAT and accounting standards.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order-to-cash operations.
Assist auditors with sales and receivable records.
Help improve accounting and reporting processes.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration

Male

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the Qatar or GCC region, providing regional expertise.
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems, ensuring technical competency.
Strong understanding of IFRS and Qatar tax regulations, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting.
