Technician- Protection

Job Description

Perform protection maintenance, relay testing, and equipment calibration.
Troubleshoot and repair protection/control circuit issues.
Conduct routine and pre-commissioning works in substations.
Maintain tools, test sets, and assist KM engineers/supervisors.
Handle relay settings, inspections, and decommissioning tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Diploma(Electrical, Electronics), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Electronics/Telecomunication)

Any

Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA.
Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
Minimum 02 years for Degree holders and 04 years for Diploma holders in
Protection of EHV Live system, Transmission systems with similar utility. Should be familiar with Numerical relay setting, testing etc. and numerical relay test equipments (single/3 phase).
Knowledge of Safety Rules and Regulations.
Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools.
