Technician- Substation Automation & Instrumentation

Job Description

Maintain and test batteries, chargers, UPS, and fire protection systems.
Troubleshoot and repair DC system issues in substations.
Support commissioning, inspections, and decommissioning tasks.
Assist KM staff and maintain tools and equipment records.
Desired Candidate Profile

Any Nationality

Diploma(Electrical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Electronics/Telecomunication)

Any

Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA.
Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
Minimum 02 years for Degree holders and 04 years for Diploma holders in DC system (mainly in Borri, Chloride, AEES, Benning).
Should be familiar with different makes & types of Battery Chargers, DCDB, Batteries, UPS, CO2 Fire Protection system, Eye Wash systems & SERGI Transformer Explosion Prevention systems (routine maintenance, fault finding, trouble shooting, tuning of the parameters etc.)
Knowledge of Safety Rules and Regulations.
Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools
