Job Description
Welding Foreman:
Execution of daily target as per the instruction of General Supervisor
Labor assignment in ERP
Study the drawings/WPS
Selection of qualified welders for each job
Selection of consumables as per the WPS
Requesting consumables issue from the Store
Raising RFI
Requesting Tools and equipment issue from the store
Reporting daily production to general supervisor. Plan vs actual
Health and Safety compliance
Workshop cleanliness/ House keeping
Desired Candidate Profile
Any Nationality
Secondary School(Technical, Vocational), Intermediate School
Male
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding or a related field is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Certified Welder (AWS, ASME, or equivalent certification) indicating proficiency in various welding techniques.
Experience in industries such as structural and Piping steel fabrication / infrastructure / OIl and Gas. ,
Be with a strong understanding of specific welding procedure for heavy steel structures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, translating them into actionable welding instructions.
Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and directing a diverse team while maintaining high morale and productivity.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and management.
Fabrication Foreman / Senior Fabricators – Only with structural / piping steel fabrication
