Job Description

Oversee daily facility operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment for all occupants, coordinating with maintenance teams and contractors.
Manage budgets for facility maintenance and improvement projects, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and training sessions to minimize risks.
Develop and maintain facility management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws and industry standards.
Coordinate space planning and utilization strategies to optimize the functionality of office layouts and common areas.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant and employee inquiries, resolving issues swiftly and effectively to maintain satisfaction.
Oversee vendor management, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery from suppliers and service providers.
Conduct regular assessments of facility systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.
Lead sustainability initiatives within the facility, promoting eco-friendly practices and reducing the environmental footprint.
Prepare and present reports on facility performance metrics to senior management, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required for a strong foundational understanding.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in facility management or property management is essential for effective role execution.
Industry certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) will enhance credibility and expertise.
Proficiency in facility management software and tools is necessary to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions on facility performance and improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution will ensure efficient facility operations.
Physical ability to perform site inspections and oversee maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of local norms and regulations to effectively engage with a diverse workforce.
