Job Description

Role – APIC Developer -Integration

Experience – 4-6 Years

Location – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Duration – 12 months

Technical Skills:

· Design and implement integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM API Connect (APIC).

· Develop and manage RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and message flows.

· Integrate backend systems, databases, and third-party services using ACE.

· Implement API security policies, rate limiting, and OAuth2 in APIC.

· Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

· Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of integration flows.

· Proven experience with IBM API Connect (APIC), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and IBM DataPower.

· Strong understanding of SOA, event-driven architectures and API lifecycle management.

· Experience with Apache Kafka, managed file transfers, and messaging middleware.

· Proficiency in Unified Modeling Language (UML) and architecture documentation.

· Familiarity with rules engines (e.g., IBM ODM) and BPM tools.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills.

· Ability to lead architectural discussions and influence technical decisions.

· Experience with cloud-native integration platforms.

· Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Architect RESTful APIs and microservices to support business and technical requirements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Develop and maintain architecture design documents, standards, and best practices.

· Lead integration modernization initiatives using agile integration methodologies.

· Ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

· Monitor and optimize integration performance and availability.

· Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for integration solutions.

Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Should have experience in banking domain, preferably middle east.

· Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

· Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Certification: (Preferred)

· Certifications in IBM APIC or related technologies preferred.

· Experience with cloud-native integration platforms.

· Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions.
