AutoCAD MEP Draftsman

Job Description

Develop and prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings using AutoCAD software.

– Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes.

– Create drawings for equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documentation.

– Review and verify the accuracy of designs and ensure they comply with applicable codes and standards.

– Assist in the preparation of project documentation and provide technical support as required.

– Revise drawings as needed and ensure proper documentation of any modifications.

– Communicate design concepts and progress with the responsible engineer, ensuring that deadlines are met.

– Work with engineers to track project timelines and deliverables.

– Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter with a focus on mechanical and electrical plans.

– Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and understanding of technical drawings.

– Ability to read, understand, and create drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.

– Knowledge of industry standards and local regulations for mechanical and electrical design.

– Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
