Job Description

Lead and manage the implementation of utility-scale BESS projects with expertise in EPC, Supplier, and BoP strategies.
Lead the design and implementation of renewable generation control system applications for KSA and Gulf region projects.
Design, implement, and test various components of the renewable generation control system, including overall power plant control for PV Solar and BESS sites based on established PSSE models and ISO/RTO requirements.
Identify opportunities for product and process improvements and provide valuable suggestions.
Support project lifecycle phases, from concept to contract negotiation, for diverse technical consultancy services.
Pioneer the design of groundbreaking BESS contracts that establish the benchmark for industry standards, setting new precedents in innovation, reliability and performance.
Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external and international stakeholders, contributing to interdisciplinary initiatives.
Coordinate asset generation between PV Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
Design systems for BESS and PV Solar, ensuring effective communication through industry standard protocols.
Actively participate in business development endeavors to elevate Fichtner’s BESS presence and offerings.
Embrace site visits and travel as needed during various project stages.
Mentor and guide less experienced engineers in renewable control system application design and commissioning.
Support customer Factory Acceptance Test and participate in site commissioning and Site Acceptance Test activities.
Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Energy)

Any

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (electrical engineering or related fields)
Have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in the implementation of utility-scale BESS.
Demonstrate expertise in EPC and supplier tender preparations.
Proficiency in integrating BESS with other technologies is a valuable asset.
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, cultivating positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Fluency in written, spoken, and comprehended English is mandatory; further language skills are a plus.
Familiarity with MATLAB is an advantage.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
