Job Description

Develop detailed MEP BIM models using software like Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring precision in system layouts and compliance with project specifications.
Collaborate with architects and structural engineers to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall building design, optimizing space and functionality.
Conduct clash detection analysis using BIM tools to identify and resolve potential conflicts between MEP systems and other building components.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shop drawings, as-built models, and installation manuals for MEP systems.
Participate in project meetings to communicate modeling progress, design changes, and challenges while offering solutions to enhance project efficiency.
Support the coordination of MEP systems during installation by providing on-site assistance and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
Implement industry best practices and standards in BIM modeling, ensuring adherence to local codes and regulations throughout the design process.
Assist in the creation of quantity take-offs and cost estimates from BIM models to support project budgeting and financial planning.
Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and methodologies to continuously improve modeling techniques and workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma(Electrical, Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Mechanical)

Any

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in MEP BIM modeling within the construction or engineering industry, showcasing hands-on project involvement.
Certification in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit or Navisworks is highly desirable, demonstrating proficiency in industry-standard tools.
Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration on large-scale projects, highlighting the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, enabling accurate modeling and design validation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex design challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks, ensuring project milestones are met without compromising quality.
Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy in modeling and documentation, crucial for the success of MEP installations.
