Job Title: Cards Portfolio Management Specialist
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)
Contract Term: 12 Months (with potential extension)
Division: Retail Banking / Cards & Payments
Reports To: Head of Cards & Payments (dotted-line to MA Advisors Program Lead)

About the Role
We are seeking a Cards Portfolio Management Specialist to provide strategic advisory and execution support for portfolio optimization initiatives across key KPIs such as ENR, spend, authorization, and utilization. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in cards portfolio management, lifecycle campaigns, cross-border payments, merchant partnerships, and performance analytics.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with senior stakeholders and drive growth in activation, customer engagement, utilization, and balance build for a leading retail banking client.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze portfolio trends and develop strategies to improve activation, usage, and retention.
Design and execute lifecycle campaigns and customer engagement programs.
Manage end-to-end campaign execution across channels to drive spend and balance build.
Support credit card installment plan strategies including sales optimization and revenue growth.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaign initiatives.
Leverage customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization to optimize portfolio performance.
Provide campaign rollout support including planning, tracking, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal approval processes.
Support P&L management through forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Increase in plastic/card activation and spend rates.
Improved card utilization, ENR per card, and installment sales.
Successful execution of portfolio campaigns with measurable outcomes.
Strong customer engagement and retention metrics.
Development of new partnerships to enhance cardholder value.
Achievement of portfolio growth and revenue targets.
Requirements
8–10 years of experience in banking, payments, or consulting with focus on credit card portfolio management, optimization, and campaign execution (regional experience preferred).
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of Cards P&L, revenue, loyalty programs, and campaign management.
Hands-on expertise in cross-border payments, ecommerce, merchant partnerships, segmentation, and analytics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
Fluent English required; Arabic fluency preferred.
