Cladding Technician

Job Description

Installation & Fabrication
Measure and cut cladding materials accurately as per technical drawings and specifications.
Install cladding panels using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment.
Apply insulation, vapor barriers, and other sub-layers as required.
Secure cladding components using approved fixing systems (e.g., rivets, screws, adhesives).
Preparation & Quality Control
Read and interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and method statements.
Inspect materials for defects or damage before installation.
Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and finish to meet project requirements.
Perform adjustments and minor repairs to achieve a seamless fit and finish.
Safety & Compliance
Strictly follow safety protocols, including working at heights, PPE use, and equipment handling.
Adhere to quality standards and company policies throughout installation.
Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Inspect and repair existing cladding systems as needed.
Identify and report installation issues or material defects.
Replace damaged panels or components efficiently.
Desired Candidate Profile

Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Sri Lankan

Diploma(Vocational Course)

Male

Proficient in using hand and power tools (drills, grinders, cutting machines).
Ability to interpret shop drawings and fabrication details.
Strong knowledge of cladding materials (ACM, metal composite, rainscreen systems).
Excellent understanding of safety procedures, especially for working at heights.
Detail-oriented with strong hand-eye coordination and physically fit.
Certification in working at heights/scaffolding (preferred).
Welding or fabrication experience (advantageous).
