Job Description
• Developing early-stage cost estimates, detailed budgets, and financial forecasts to
ensure commercial efficiency.
• Advising on and implementing procurement strategies that balance time, cost,
quality, and client requirements.
• Leading the full tendering process, evaluating bids, negotiating main and subcontract
agreements, and ensuring alignment with BK Gulf standards.
• Managing variations, claims, and potential disputes with robust documentation and
proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project
lifecycle.
• Preparing accurate commercial and financial reports for senior management and
clients.
• Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating commercial, financial, and contractual risks.
• Serving as the primary commercial point of contact for clients, consultants,
subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing commercial staff, including quantity surveyors
and procurement specialists.
• Supporting pre-bid activities, including proposal preparation, commercial inputs, and
client presentations to secure new projects.

Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Mechanical)
Any
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in commercial management within the
construction sector, with proven experience delivering major data centre projects
(mandatory).
• Professional certifications such as MRICS or FIDIC accreditation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contractual frameworks (particularly
FIDIC), and regional market pricing.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong financial acumen, cost control, and budgeting expertise.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex contractual and
commercial matters.
