Job Description
. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, sensors, instruments, VFDs, control systems, and power distribution.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical components of factory machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
3. Performing preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
4. Working closely with the production team to resolve electrical issues impacting machine performance.
5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
6. Maintaining records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
7. Participating in the installation and upgrading of electrical systems in the plant.
8. Assisting with machine programming and control system adjustments as needed.
Performing any additional tasks related to the job title as required.
Required Competencies:
1. Technical Expertise: Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems and industrial machinery.

Education/Qualification/ Certification and Work Experience:
1. Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial or factory setting (preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, or heavy industry).
3. Experience with troubleshooting PLCs, SCADA systems, and other control technologies.
4. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, part manuals.
5. In depth knowledge of switching devices, control logics and protection devices.
6. Proficient in basic electrical testing and measuring equipment (Megger, Multimeter, etc)
7. Knowledge of electronic components.
8. AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
9. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
10. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
