1\responsible for relay protection device testing
Design and implement robust electrical protection schemes for high-voltage and low-voltage systems, ensuring grid stability and personnel safety.
Conduct detailed fault analysis studies using specialized software to identify potential hazards and optimize protection settings.
Develop and maintain protection relay settings, ensuring they align with system requirements and industry standards, and regularly review and update relay settings to reflect system changes.
Perform site inspections and commissioning of protection systems, including testing and troubleshooting to guarantee proper functionality.
Collaborate with project teams on the design and integration of electrical protection systems into new and existing infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.
Investigate electrical incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, focusing on continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in protection technologies and industry best practices, integrating new solutions and strategies.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate protection system performance and findings effectively.
Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on protection system operation and troubleshooting, empowering them with necessary skills.
Manage and oversee protection system maintenance activities, including scheduling, coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, proactively mitigating potential risks.

Bachelor Degree
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in electrical principles.
Demonstrates experience in the Power industry. Experience within the Oil & Gas, or Renewables sectors is an advantage.
Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical protection engineering, with proven expertise in the field.
