Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Estimation and Tendering Manager to lead our pre-contract activities for high-end interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in estimation and tendering, with a strong background in the GCC market. This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to manage the tendering process from initial inquiry to final submission.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the estimation and tendering department for all fit-out projects.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Develop and maintain a database of suppliers, subcontractors, and pricing benchmarks.
Prepare tender documentation, including BOQs, cost breakdowns, and technical submissions.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Review and negotiate contract terms with clients and consultants.
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to maintain competitiveness.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Any Nationality
Master of Technology/Engineering(Civil), MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt(Finance)
Any
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in estimation and tendering within the fit-out or construction industry.
Proven track record of successful tender submissions and project awards.
Prior experience working in the GCC region is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, methods, and market rates.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
