Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred, showcasing commitment and expertise in fire safety.
Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards, demonstrating an understanding of industry best practices.
Proficiency in fire modeling software and hydraulic calculation tools to ensure accurate designs.
Strong analytical skills to assess fire risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high accuracy.

5-10 years of relevant work experience in fire protection design or consulting within construction or engineering sectors.
