Lathe Machine Operator

Job Description

Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines, identifying and resolving mechanical issues proactively.
Adjust machine settings and tooling to optimize production efficiency and ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and health regulations at all times.
Document production data and machine performance for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
Train and mentor junior operators on best practices, safety protocols, and machine operation techniques.

Diploma(Machine Tool Maintenance & Repair, Tool & Die Technology)

Male

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with precision.
Strong knowledge of machining tools, materials, and processes, particularly regarding lathe operations.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and tolerances.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle machinery and materials safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with CNC programming and operations is a plus, demonstrating adaptability to technology.
